Who is a carer?

A carer is a person who provides unpaid care and support to someone who is ill, disabled, frail or elderly.
To Register or Make a Referral

You can register yourself as a carer or any professional can make a referral to access our service.

Carers are a lifeline and we care about you. Looking after your health as a carer is important.
Advice Surgery & Community Support

Our experienced Community Support Team are available for advice, information, signposting and referrals.
I Am A Carer
Young Adult Carers (YAC)

We offer general advice and individual support to young adult carers (YAC) aged 16-30. You will have an opportunity to meet other YACs at the monthly support group and at different activities e.g. creative activities, day trips. We also run self-development courses such as employability skills, budgeting and confidence building.

Dementia Carers

Our Dementia Carers Service provides specialist advice, information and access to peer support and activities. Working in partnership with key outside organisations to ensure both you and the person you care for are on the right support pathway.
