Remote Sessional Counsellor/Coach

Redbridge Carers Support Service is a leading carers organisation offering a range of innovative, holistic services to carers. We are currently seeking three sessional counselling and/or coaching practitioners who will join our team to support young adult carers remotely to improve their emotional and mental wellbeing and to support them in their personal and professional development, during and after the COVID-19 outbreak.

The successful candidate will hold a recognised counselling or coaching qualification and be registered with an appropriate professional body. They will have significant experience of providing sessions via telephone and/or online and will be able to set out and hold boundaries with clients remotely. The post holder will be experienced in working with young adults in a time-limited way. They will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with both staff and carers.

This is a sessional post, up to 4 hours per week. The role holder will be considered a self-employed practitioner contracted to the organisation to provide counselling or coaching services. Salary: £35 per hour
