Please join us for a Reflexology Session with one of our therapist Michelle Harris.

Reflexology, also known as zone therapy, is an alternative medical practice involving the application of pressure to specific points on the feet and hands. This is done using thumb, finger, and hand massage techniques without the use of oil or lotion.

Week 1

WATER AND HAND CREAM
You may feel tired and your hands might feel different but that’s ok just drink water and this will help to release toxins from your body & rest.

Dr William Fitzgerald discovered the different zones of therapy which are lines on your hands (& feet) which are used to apply pressure on the area as a source of healing.

The benefits of reflexology:
.Reduce stress
. Reduce pain
. Fights bacterial infection, colds
. Lifts headaches
. Back problems
. Arthritis
. Women’s/Men’s well-being etc...

Meditation ( can be done in a few mins every day)
breathing exercises,
A few upper bodies stretch, gentle head & arms etc...
using your imagination to take you away from your environment.
Using objects from your happy place to think of during your day.
Deeper breathing.

Hand warm-up (gentle exercises)
Wiggle your fingers, turn your hands in & out, turn each finger.

I will recap all of this next week.
