We at RCSS are committed to supporting, encouraging and celebrating volunteering in all it’s diversity.  We understand that volunteers contribute greatly to our organisation. We truly value the amazing support of our volunteers and always welcome new applications from all walks of life. We provide training and ongoing support.

What is volunteering? It’s giving your time and using your skills, understanding and compassion to help someone you may not know or be related to. Volunteering is not paid, but any expenses incurred such as travel will be reimbursed. 

Reasons for volunteering are varied –

  • it’s giving something back to the community
  • it’s making a difference
  • it's an act of kindness
  • it can be a lifeline
  • it can be fun and rewarding
