RCSS has been collaborating with Create Arts, a charity that enables adult carers to take a creative break from their caring responsibilities. Carers have reported how much they enjoyed the workshops, with many commenting on the improvement in their mental wellbeing and boosted confidence.

Our most recent workshop, "Radio Drama," concluded in April and was once again a huge success with our carers. Participants were coached in exploring how sound works, creating short scenes and movie trailers, crafting stories, and much more.

The carers' efforts over the six-week workshop resulted in a wonderful production of a "High Street Heist," which is entirely their own work. The radio drama was edited by Artistic Director and Theatre Maker James Baldwin, who also ran the workshop.

RCSS will continue to partner with Create Arts to bring creative art workshops to our carers. So keep an eye out for flyers and posters promoting upcoming events.
