Introduction
At Redbridge Carers Support Service (RCSS) we welcome comments about our services so that we can continually evaluate service delivery. The centre is committed to developing a range of methods both formal and informal to ensure that people get their views about the centre heard.
One of these methods is the complaints policy. Anyone making a complaint against the service must feel confident that these will be thoroughly investigated and dealt with promptly and in a non-judgmental way. RCSS believes that if something has gone wrong the complaint should be openly acknowledged to enable action to be taken to remedy the situation and ensure quality of service provision.
The complaints procedure will be displayed in the RCSS office and is available upon request.
ScopeThe policy covers complaints about services, service users, volunteers and paid members of staff. It does not include complaints made by staff or volunteers, which will be dealt with under the grievance and disciplinary procedures.
