Carers Training Initiative 17.5 hours salary £10,327 fixed term until May 2010

Do you have good communication skills? Are you aware of issues facing unpaid carers?
Are you well organised, have good admin
skills and confident about moving across
cultural and other barriers enabling people to take up training?
Do you have experience of working with
groups supporting socially isolated members of the community?
A background in community development
work is desirable for this project and, due to the diversity of carers in the borough, fluency in one or more relevant community language/s

Volunteers needed

RCSS welcomes applications from people who can spare a few hours a week to volunteer time.

Whether you are interested in office duties or involving yourself with our carers, we would love to hear from you.  We have so many interesting projects running at the moment such as the Training Project, the Older Carers Project and The Munch Club to name a few.  

You can be from any walk of life, aged 18+, maybe have skills in another language.  Please feel free to talk to us about yourself and what kind of thing you would like to do.
