RCSS will be having an information and
display stand at Queens Hospital and hosting an information and advice
session along with Yvonne Gordon, Carers Development Worker, LBR at
Hainault Health Centre. The Ilford Drop-in will take place from 10am - 3pm
Thursday

Forum and special presentation event to celebrate the work of
our ‘pilot’ one year Older Carers Project and our partnership project
with Redbridge Community Housing Limited (RCHL) for Older Carers of People
with a Learning Disability. Join us at 3.45pm for refreshments and 4.15
start. Well known actress, and Vice President of Princess Royal Trust for
Carers, Pam Ferris, will be talking about the achievements of the projects
and older carers will relate their own stories, alongside staff, trustees
and volunteers. Spaces are limited so please book your place by calling
020 8514 6251 as soon as possible.

There
will be RCSS Complementary Therapies and we will be having a stall at the
London Borough of Redbridge Carers
Week event at the Town Hall to launch Redbridge Carers
Emergency Scheme. There will be music bands, massage, health checks and
much more.
