Carers UK is a registered charity that provides support to anyone who is a carer.
They undertake a variety of work to support the needs of carers – this includes:

Providing information and advice to carers. 
Campaigning for a better deal for carers. This is achieved by lobbying central and local government, and raising awareness among employers, health professionals, members of the media and the general public about issues that affect carers. 
Supporting and commissioning research. This helps them get a better understanding of the problems facing carers and develop policies based on their real needs.
Providing training and advice to professionals who work with carers. This helps to ensure carers get the support they need
